Garey Gomez, 2019 PFRE Photographer of the Year, and his photography coach, Tony Colangelo, are excited to announce a one-day workshop on November 20th, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada, one day after the 2021 PFRE Conference. This interactive and highly engaging small-group workshop is aimed at giving you the knowledge and confidence to create great images in less time.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
GAREY GOMEZ
Garey Gomez is an architectural and real estate photographer based in Atlanta, GA. He is the 2019 PFRE Photographer of the Year, and has served as a juror in the PFRE Photographer of the Month contest since 2020. In 2019, he released his highly praised video tutorial series, Mastering Real Estate Photography, followed by the Mastering Twilight Photography tutorial in 2020. Garey is a natural teacher, and along with being very proficient with his photography, both technically and creatively, he is also very business-minded and has helped countless photographers in all areas of their businesses.
TONY COLANGELO
Tony Colangelo is a successful photographer based in Victoria, BC, who shoots for the most notable interior designers and builders in his marketplace. His images have been an integral part of many of his clients winning grand prize in industry-wide competitions for construction and renovation excellence. His work has also been featured in numerous magazines and feature articles.
Tony is a long-time contributor to the PFRE community. In 2019, he released his popular video tutorial, The Art & Science of Great Composition. Tony is also a highly sought after coach, who combines a thirty-year history of coaching/consulting practice, with many years’ experience as a senior business executive. Over the past several years, Tony’s supported countless photographers, with many of them going on to win PFRE’s Monthly Contests. In fact, three of his clients went on to win PFRE Photographer of the Year, Including Brandon Cooper, Mike Lefebvre and Garey Gomez.

MEALS: Continental Breakfast, and Buffet Lunch provided.
TRANSPORTATION: Transportation to and from the workshop’s photo shoot location is included, and will originate from the South Point Hotel & Casino.
PLEASE NOTE: The 2021 PFRE Conference is being held at the South Point Hotel Casino & Spa on November 18th and 19th, 2021. This workshop is intended as an add-on classroom and in-the-field educational opportunity, to be held the day after the PFRE Conference, and it is strongly encouraged that you book your lodging at South Point Hotel Casino and Spa. When booking your travel plans for the 2021 PFRE Conference, you must make your travel arrangements to be present for the start of the workshop at 8am November 20th, 2021.
WORKSHOP DETAILS & WHAT TO BRING
A photo shoot has been arranged at a beautiful nearby residence. At the photoshoot, workshop attendees will be accompanying Garey and Tony as Garey demonstrates his shooting workflow in multiple rooms. Attendees will have the opportunity to be very hands-on with Garey while he is demonstrating his workflow. To ensure everyone in attendance gets the most out of this workshop, there is no need to bring your own camera equipment.
Be prepared to take notes and ask questions. You will be provided with a download link after the workshop, where you can get access to Garey’s Lightroom Presets and Photoshop Actions that he demonstrates as part of his workflow, as well as the RAW files captured during the event.
A NOTE ON COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
You are responsible for your own COVID-19 precautionary measures during the entirety of the workshop, including but not limited to, the classroom, meals, transportation, and in-the-field instruction. Face masks are encouraged for unvaccinated attendees. The only requirement for attending the workshop, is that you are respectful to all attendees.
